Its interior has been designed with care, with a new "wave-look" dashboard and decorative touches that evoke the motorcycle world.

Manufactured in France, at the Mulhouse factory, the 206+ is intended for the core European market. It offers a range of engine options, with a 1.1 l petrol engine developing 44 kW (60 bhp) and a 1.4 l developing 55 kW (75 bhp), as well as a 1.4 l HDi Diesel engine developing 50 kW (70 bhp), keeping the carbon footprint under control thanks to CO2 emissions as low as 110 g/km.

The 206+ thus picks up the torch behind the 206, the key model of the Peugeot range, with a strong international image, and will appeal to clients with its feline allure, its architecture and its reasonably-priced equipment level.

This osmosis of style between the 207 and the 206 harmonises the characteristic body shape of the 206 with a new bonnet, new wings, a new lower front panel and radiator grille, new main headlamps and fog lamps, new wheels and wheel trims, a new lower rear panel and new rear lights…. And in the original 206 passenger compartment “designed around its occupants”, a new panoramic fascia panel, an instrument panel calling to mind the world of the motorcycle, modernised trims and new textures create a young and contemporary feel.

The range of engines includes three versions that enhance the car’s appeal and combine low fuel consumption and emissions with an affordable purchase price and running costs.

The 1.1 litre 44 kW (60bhp) petrol engine is a new basic level offer available alongside the 1.4 litre 55kW (75bhp) engine, while in the diesel camp, optimisation of the 1.4 litre HDi 50 kW (70bhp) engine offers a combined fuel consumption of 4.2 litres/100km and CO2 emissions limited to 110 g/km.
